Lotto Results CSV Download

Once there was a time when the South African National Lottery website had a downloadable CSV available every week containing the entire history of the Lotto Results. If you miss those days, this page is just the thing for you. I will update this page periodically (not every week – I am only human) to reflect a fairly recent CSV of Lotto Results containing the winning numbers preferably, although not necessarily, in order drawn along with the amount of winners in each division, the value of each division, and various other statistics that summarise the week on the South African Lottery.

You can download the CSV here.

A few things to notice:

  1. The results are not complete and begin only at the date 2015-06-03.
  2. A lot of changes have taken place in the South African lottery including changes of ownership, amount of balls played (Was 49 balls and is currently 52), and various other changes to the games.

A brief timeline of the South African National Lottery:

  • 11 March 2000 – The South African National Lottery is launched by Uthingo.
  • November 2003 – Lotto Plus is launched
  • April 2007 – Uthingo runs final Lotto draw and Lotto is suspended indefinitely.
  • September 2007 – Lotto reopens under Gidani.
  • 2015 – Lotto license awarded to Ithuba.
  • 2 August 2017 – 52 Ball Lotto is introduced to replace the old 49 Ball Game
